 Talking about the Johor Bahru famou cuisine, many people will definitely think about the kway teow gia! Kway Teow Gia is a typical traditional Teow Chew cuisine in JB. It can be found in many places and the most important things is this dishes can be eaten in every meal for example breakfast, lunch, dinner or even supper.


Woon Kiang Kway Teow Gia is another famous shop that sold Kway Teow Gia in Johor Bahru and it has accumulated a loyal customers that will visit their shop very often. Even though it was on the late night their shops is still crowded with a lot of people that willing to queue up to wait for a seat and try their delicious food.



The owner of this shop is still insist to maintain their traditional taste that teach by their ancestor from before until now . Furthermore, this shop had sold more than 10 kind of side dishes that used to eat with the kway tiao gia. For example their famous braised duck, braised tofu and egg, braised pig intestine, salted vegetables, beancurd and so on. All of this side dishes can make a person become very energetic after they taste it as it is very nice and tasty.





Braised large intestine is one of the special side dishes that need a lot of time to prepare it. It is because it need use a lot of time to clean it and remove the oudorness that consist in the large intestine. Others than that, the braised sauce that used to braise the large intestine make the whole dish went to another level and the most important things is the large intestine is very tender and soft. So for the person who like to eat pig organ will definitely like it.
